Commercial Document Generator

Python · Local HTML · PDF · Markdown

Quotations, invoices, commercial invoices, packing lists, and P&L views all depend on the same core facts, but the documents need to be shaped differently depending on the client, bill of materials, shipping terms, and cross-border context. Updating one detail manually across all of those outputs creates slow iteration and a high chance of mismatch.

Built a Python-based local tool enriched with company context, product setup, cross-border operations, and shipping nuances. Client details, bills of materials, shipping terms, and related notes can be uploaded once, then used to create and revise quotation and margin scenarios through local HTML visualization, Markdown, PDF outputs, and commercial document templates.

The tool is already in use. It makes it faster to iterate on P&L assumptions and quotation details while keeping operational documents closer to the same source of truth.

Commercial automation works best when it respects the physical details: product configuration, shipping terms, border paperwork, packaging, and margins. The value is not replacing judgment, but making revisions faster once the commercial logic is clear.
